Core Survival Loop

In Kogama: Shark Chase Adventure, the shark never stops. Your only job is to keep moving forward across a series of platforms while maintaining a lead over the pursuing shark. Acid blocks appear along the path, and touching them ends your run. The tension comes from balancing speed with precision: you need to move fast enough to stay ahead, but careless jumps into acid will end your attempt just as quickly. Each run tests your reaction time and coordination under constant pressure.

Scoring and Progression

Survival time is the primary measure of success, but crystals and bonuses scattered along the route give you a way to increase your score and extend your run. Collecting these items rewards risk-taking and encourages you to take efficient routes rather than simply running in a straight line. Because the shark's position and the acid block layout create a moving puzzle, every attempt plays out differently, giving you a fresh chance to improve your timing.

Cooperative Play and Controls

The game supports cooperative play, so friends can join and help each other avoid hazards. Standard keyboard controls—arrow keys or WASD—handle movement and jumping. Playing in full screen improves visibility, which matters when you need to spot acid blocks early. The blocky, colorful graphics keep the atmosphere playful rather than threatening, making the game suitable for all ages. Desktop with a keyboard is the recommended setup.

Approach and Mindset

Rushing leads to mistakes. The players who last longest tend to stay calm, watch the pattern of acid blocks and the shark's movement, and time their jumps carefully. Playing with friends adds a layer of shared strategy, as you can coordinate to cover more ground and warn each other about upcoming obstacles. The simple premise hides a genuine challenge: staying alive requires focus, but the accessible design means anyone can pick it up and improve with practice.
