Fitting Animal Blocks Into a Tight Grid

Animal Grid Puzzle is built around a single, repeatable decision: where to place the three animal-shaped blocks waiting below the board. Each block occupies a specific arrangement of squares, and your job is to fit it into the 10x10 grid without wasting space. The board fills up faster than most players expect, so every placement either buys you room or quietly closes off future options.

Clearing Lines and Earning Points

When a horizontal row or vertical column is completely filled, it disappears and awards points. The scoring loop is simple, but the strategy is not: clearing one line can leave awkward gaps elsewhere, and clearing two at once often requires setting up several moves in advance. A preview of upcoming blocks helps you plan, though the sequence is randomized, so no two runs play out the same way.

Controls and Accessibility

Drag-and-drop works with a mouse on desktop and a finger on mobile, and the game runs directly in a browser with no installation. There is no timer, which means you can study the board for as long as you like before committing to a move. Some versions may offer rotation or flipping, but the core interaction is placement. Full-screen mode is supported for a cleaner view of the grid.

What Ends a Run

The game continues until none of the three available blocks can fit anywhere on the grid. At that point your final score is shown. Because the block shapes are visually distinct and animal-themed, recognizing them quickly becomes second nature, and that recognition is what separates a short run from a long one.
