From Drawing to Shrinking
Players begin by choosing a pre-made shrinky dink design or drawing their own using on-screen coloring tools. Bright colors and varied patterns are encouraged. Once the artwork is finished, a click sends it into a virtual oven. There, the design shrinks and hardens into a small, durable hair clip. This sequence teaches cause and effect: the drawn pattern determines the final clip's look, and the shrinking step is irreversible.
Styling Cathy and Friends
After a clip is made, players select a friend from the available characters and attach the clip to that character's hair. The game then moves to a dress-up section where outfits and accessories can be chosen for Cathy and her friends. Mixing and matching the new hair clips with different clothing options is the main way to personalize each character.
Designed for Young Creators
All interactions use simple clicks and drags, making the game accessible for young children. The graphics are colorful and the music is cheerful, creating a positive atmosphere. The game is ad-free and safe for kids. Multiple characters to style encourage repeated play, and the combination of drawing, shrinking, and dress-up provides a sense of accomplishment as designs transform into wearable accessories.
